Cookie policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
In short
- Necessary cookies (cart, security, your cookie choice and your account session, if you log in) are always stored and do not need your permission.
- Analytics and advertising cookies, only if you accept them: that is your decision. If you reject them, none is installed.
- We do not share your information with third parties for advertising or for their own purposes.
- You can change your choice whenever you like from “Cookie settings”, in the footer.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit: for example, what you have added to the cart. Some are essential for the store to work; others are used to measure how it is used or to show you advertising, and we only use those if you accept them. In this policy we also use “cookies” for similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage.
2. Who uses them
- First-party cookies: they are managed by the owner of SafeLadyNails (name and tax ID (NIF) in the Legal notice) through Shopify, the platform the store runs on.
- Third-party cookies: they are managed by other companies. Today we have not enabled any for advertising or analytics purposes; if we ever do, it will only be if you accept them (see section 3.3).
3. Which cookies we use
3.1. Technical or necessary (they do not need your consent)
They are essential so that you can browse, use the cart, pay and save your choice about cookies. They cannot be turned off from the cookie panel.
Your account session: if you log in to your customer account, we keep your session with a necessary cookie managed by Shopify. It is stored whenever you log in and cannot be turned off from the cookie panel: without it we could not keep you logged in.

4. How to accept, reject or configure cookies
- The first time you enter the store we show you a notice with two equal buttons, “Reject” and “Accept”, and the “Configure” button to choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- Until you choose, we only use the technical cookies. No analytics or advertising cookie is installed before your consent.
- We will ask you again at least once a year, when your choice expires.
5. How to change your mind or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it, from the “Cookie settings” link that you will find in the footer of every page of the store. Withdrawing your consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or others; you will find it in their help section). Please note that, if you block the technical cookies, the cart and checkout may stop working.
